Its getting there slowly, ive been looking at lots of research into the area - namely skin to bone interaction. Its happening, just work gets eat up the time. It should be a lot faster now as I cleaned up tons of expressions etc. Pixar use MenV which basically clumps together vertices and them whacks an expression (avar - articulated variable) onto them so it can be driven by a slider. Now they also have 'goo' which is basically a skin simulator.
The hardest thing im finding and it seems face robot is too is rolling the lips over bone, its very complex and i maybe even looking at a secondary system to drive it.
